Areas of use

Kratasol Flowret - the basis of additives that regulate the conservation of mobility of the concrete mixture. Kratasol Flowret can be used as a component of complex plasticizing, water-reducing additives if it is necessary to increase the mobility of mobility of concrete mixtures.

Recommendations for application

Additives are concentrated solutions of polycarboxylates of intrinsic synthesis that regulate the preservation of mobility of a concrete mixture. When designing the composition of additives based on Kratasol Flowret, it should be borne in mind that these additives at optimal dosages increase the mobility of the concrete mixture (depending on the dosage, materials used, water-cement ratio):

Kratasol Flowret brand A - 2-5 cm for 30-60 minutes

Kratasol Flowret brand B - 3-7 cm for 40-80 minutes

Kratasol Flowret brand V - 2-6 cm for 40-80 minutes

In this case, Kratasol Flowret brand B has a lesser hydrogen-reducing effect in comparison with Kratasol Flowret brand A and Kratasol Flowret brand V (an average of 10% depending on the materials used).

In additives based on Kratasol Flowret, it is necessary to introduce defoamers to reduce the amount of air entrained in the concrete mixture. To determine the nature and the optimal dosage of defoamer, it is necessary to carry out laboratory tests, selection.

It is recommended to introduce additives based on Kratasol Flowret water-reducing polycarboxylates (Kratasol Flowcast) to achieve the necessary strength characteristics of concrete. The ratio between polycarboxylate, regulating the safety of mobility of a concrete mix, and water-reducing polycarboxylate is selected by laboratory selection depending on the materials used, requirements for concrete mix and concrete.

To increase the retainability of the mobility of the concrete mix, the consumption of the Kratasol Flowret additive is 0.1 ÷ 0.3% of the dry matter by weight of the cement. The dosage of Kratasol Flowret can vary both in the large and in the lower side, depending on the materials used, the requirements for the concrete mixture, and concrete. The optimal consumption of Kratasol Flowret additive is established during laboratory selection. To achieve the necessary quality indicators of concrete mix, concrete, economic effect, Kratasol Flowret should not be overdosed.

If it is necessary to further increase the frost resistance of concrete, it is recommended to share the additive on the basis of Kratasol Flowret and Aeromix.

Physical and chemical indicators

Transportation

In liquid form, the additive is supplied in bulk in auto- and railway tanks, as well as in plastic containers of various capacities. Kratasol Flowret is a non-toxic and non-flammable product.

The additive is transported by any mode of transport, in accordance with the regulations in force.

Storage

Store at a temperature of + 15 ÷ + 30 о С in a closed container. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, freezing. If the recommended storage conditions are violated, the physical, chemical and consumer properties of the product may change. Observance of the recommended conditions allows storing the additive within 6 months from the date of manufacture.

Precautionary measures

It is recommended to use protective gloves when working with the additive. If the product gets on your skin, wash it off with soap and water. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Dispose of the additive according to local regulations, do not pour into the soil, water, sewerage.
