1949 ANILINE PAINT PLANT

Commissioning of the Tambov Aniline-Dye Plant.

From 1949 to 1964, the production of organic pigments, direct dyes, artificial fibers dyes and a number of chemical products, including diketene, phthalic and maleic anhydride, were mastered.

1964 CHEMICAL COMBINE

In April 1964, the Tambov Aniline and Paint Plant was renamed into the Tambov Chemical Plant.

From 1964 to 1976 the production of azo pigments, acrylic dispersions and a number of intermediate products was launched.

1976 PRODUCTION ASSOCIATION

In 1976, the Tambov Chemical Plant was renamed into the Pigment Production Association.

From 1980 to 1988, optical brighteners, dispersed dyes, and new intermediate products appeared in the product range.

The plant was renamed into the Tambov chemical plant

In the 1990s, the assortment of Pigment OJSC was changed by more than 50%. The beginning of the implementation of a comprehensive program for the modernization and reconstruction of main and auxiliary production facilities. In 1993 the KRATA trademark was registered.

1993
Release of gasoline additives.
1994-1995

Production of phenol-formaldehyde and urea-formaldehyde resins, sulfamic acid, PVA dispersion.

1996
Production of paints and varnishes.
2002 THE INDUSTRIAL GROUP "KRATA" WAS FORMED

(as part of Pigment OJSC (Tambov) and NPF Tekhnokhim CJSC (Moscow)

2003

Expansion of MMA capacity to 1200 tons per month

2004

Commissioning of a new scheme for the production of metal complex dyes.

2005
Mastering the production of concrete additives.
2006
Modernization of the production scheme for azo pigments for printing inks. Commissioning of a line for the production of semi-finished varnishes.
2009
The quality management system of Pigment OJSC is recognized as complying with the ISO 9001: 2008 standard. Introduction of a new scheme for the production of sulfamic acid. Creation of the Industrial Park "Tambov".
2010
Launching of a modernized blue phthalocyanine pigment production line, joining the international environmental program “Responsible Care”.
2011
Launch of the production of highly concentrated low-methanol formalin with a capacity of 40 thousand tons.
2012
Launch of an additional 6th scheme for the production of gasoline additives with an increase in the total production capacity up to 40 thousand tons / year.
2013
Start of construction of power unit with a capacity of 6MBt / h.
2014
A new production of acrylic emulsions of the Akratam series and a power unit were commissioned.
2016
Launch of the second line of the production of acrylic emulsions with a capacity of 12,000 tons / year and copper phthalocyanine with a capacity of 1,000 tons / year for the production of phthalocyanine pigments.
2017
A visit to the enterprise by a delegation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation headed by Minister D.V. Manturov
2018
Increase in the capacity of the first string of sulfamic acid production to 2.5 thousand tons. The quality management system of PJSC Pigment is recognized as complying with the international standard ISO 9001: 2015.
2019
Increase in the production capacity of the second string of sulfamic acid to 5 thousand tons. Opening of an Information & Exhibition center on the basis of PJSC Pigment.
2020

A visit to the enterprise by a delegation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation headed by Deputy Minister D.I. Ivanov

The integrated quality management system of PJSC "Pigment" is certified and recognized as complying with the standards ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015, ISO 45001: 2018

Creation of the first non-financial report on sustainability and corporate social responsibility


2021

"Pigment" is a winner of the Russian Government Prize in the field of quality

Opening of a charging station for electric vehicles "KRATA Energy"

Implementation of the second stage of the Energoblok project , launch of a new cogeneration plant

Changing the name of the company from PJSC to JSC


2022

Launch of the third production line of acrylic dispersions under the trade name "AKRATAM" with 12,840 tons capacity.

Organization of production of a new promising product - a semi-finished product for a depressant dispersant additive for diesel fuel

Increasing the production of sulfamic acid up to 15 thousand tons per year

2023

"Pigment" is a laureate of the Russian Government Prize in the field of quality.
