The corporate program of the Tambov-based company "Pigment" scored the highest number of points and was named among the winners in the special category for companies with revenues of up to 50 billion rubles, "For a high level of social and environmental responsibility and contribution to achieving national goals," of the RSPP National Award "Leaders of Responsible Business," established by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Oleg Podobryansky, Deputy General Director of UK KRATA LLC, received the well-deserved award from Alexander Shokhin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
The purpose of the Award is to promote responsible business practices, increase business transparency, recognize companies' contributions to social development—the creation of a favorable social and natural environment, the development of human potential and territories, the strengthening of the country, the dissemination of successful experiences, and the expansion of the number of responsible companies.
It's worth noting that 101 companies submitted applications for the 2025 Award. The applications were reviewed based on indicators recorded in reputable sustainability ratings, as well as the companies' contribution to addressing socially significant issues, as exemplified by their corporate programs. The evaluation took place in three stages, with 32 companies reaching the finals, including Pigment JSC.
The Tambov-based company's corporate program, "Harmony of Production at Pigment JSC: The Company's Social and Environmental Vision," received a high rating in a special category. This project is a systematic effort that combines production modernization, environmental monitoring, the creation of a comfortable urban environment, and an open dialogue with residents. As a result, the plant has transformed from a "site of concern" into a "driver of positive change," and its territory has become part of the city's social infrastructure. The company plans to further reduce its environmental impact, expand educational programs, and create new public spaces. Harmony between industry and society is not just a goal, but the only possible path to the sustainable development of the city and the region.
As a reminder, Pigment JSC annually participates in the RSPP National Award "Leaders of Responsible Business." Based on the results of 2023 and 2024, the Tambov-based company was named among the award's laureates.
