Tambov's Pigment became one of the winners of the All-Russian industry competition "5 Stars. Leaders of the Chemical Industry", which is held annually by the Russian Union of Chemists. The company became a laureate in the nomination "Best Implemented Project" in the field of "Investment Activity". The award ceremony took place within the framework of the international exhibition "Chemistry-2024" in the Expocentre Fairgrounds at the general meeting of the Russian Union of Chemists. The well-deserved award - the winner's diploma to the General Director of Pigment JSC Andrey Utrobin was presented by the President of the Russian Union of Chemists Viktor Ivanov.
It is worth noting that the Pigment enterprise is a permanent participant in the All-Russian industry project. During the joint meeting of the organizational and technical committees of the competition, the special investment activity of the Tambov company was noted throughout the competition (from 2018 to 2024), aimed at implementing the import substitution program and the release of domestic products.
Let us recall that in total, for the period from 2018 to 2023, the volume of investments of Pigment JSC amounted to about 5 billion rubles. By the end of 2024, more than 3.5 billion rubles are planned.
Currently, the Tambov company invests in almost all product groups and areas. Major current projects: increasing the production capacity of copper phthalocyanine and blue phthalocyanine pigment, monomethylaniline production, acrylic emulsions and dispersants, formalin capacity, varnish production; introducing new technology and organizing the production of redispersible polymer powders. Also, significant investment this year is being made in the energy and logistics infrastructure, the railway sector is being modernized, and a number of large energy facilities have been built.
