PJSC Pigment started the year 2020 successfully. In the first three months, the company produced 34 000 tons of chemical products for more than 2 billion rubles. The production index in physical terms was 109%. In monetary terms the production increased by 11%.
The profit from shipments profit increased by 10 percent compared to the same period in 2019.
The number of product groups that were significant increased in production includes acrylic emulsions, organic pigments, sulfamic acid and concrete additives.
MMA-based gasoline additives, banned in Russia, are still in demand. Today, we export these products to more than 20 countries around the world. CIS and Western Europe remain the main geographical directions of our sales. At the same time, the company continues active work on the development of Western markets and the expansion of export supplies for this product group.
The company started 2020 with the release of new products. Akratam AS 04.1 M and Akratam AS 08.1 were presented to our customers in the 1st quarter. Akratam AS 04.1 M and Akratam AS 08.1 are the universal binders for water-based paints and varnishes. The industrial-scale production is scheduled for Q2 2020.
For 3 months of the current year, Pigment PJSC has invested in the production development about 60 million rubles. Currently, we improve the technology and extend the production the following fields: pigments, sulfamic acid, concrete admixtures and optical brighteners.
It is worth to say, that PJSC Pigment has successfully completed the implementation of the national project of the Federal Center of Competence (FCC) “Increasing labor productivity and supporting employment” in March 2020. The concrete admixture production plant No. 31 (packing line) was chosen as a pilot facility.
For six months, our team, together with the FCC curators, managed to achieve good results, namely, the process timing was reduced by 13%, inventory of work in progress were reduced by 16% and the production was increased by more than 60%.
The plans for the 2nd quarter are to replicate the gained experience to other production facilities: Pigment Plant No 15 and Dispersant department of Plant No31.
