Additive for concrete and mortar Kratasol-Cryo is a complex product consisting of antifreeze components. Thanks to a rational combination of anti-freeze components, Kratasol-Cryo prevents the freezing of the concrete mix during transportation until the moment of laying, provides a normative set of strength at negative temperatures down to -25 ° C. For the greatest efficiency, additional savings in cement, the Kratasol-Cryo supplement is recommended together with the plasticizing additives of TM CRATASOL. According to consumer properties Kratasol-Cryo additive complies with the requirements of GOST 24211, shown for antifreeze additives.
Kratasol-Cryo additive is intended for the production of ready-mixed concrete and mortar in winter conditions in order to prevent their freezing during transportation until the moment of laying, in order to ensure a normative set of strength at negative temperatures.
Recommendations for use
Kratasol-Cryo is introduced into the concrete mixture together with mixing water, preferably with the last third of the mixing water. It is not recommended to add the additive to the dry mix. After adding the additive to the concrete mix, it is necessary to ensure a sufficient mixing time for a uniform distribution of the additive in the concrete mix. It is recommended to comply with the requirements for work in the winter: heating aggregates before use, for the preparation of a concrete mixture to use heated water, while the recommended temperature of the concrete mixture at the outlet of the mixer is not more than + 35 ° C; Cleaning of the surface of the installation from snow and ice; In case of snowfall, use special shelters.
To obtain the necessary strength characteristics of concrete, it is recommended that the requirements of SNIP 3.03.01 for the care of concrete in winter concreting are met. It is recommended to provide conditions for a concrete strength set of more than 20% from the design level to the moment of freezing. To achieve the greatest effect, the Kratasol-Cryo supplement is recommended together with the superplasticizing additives TM CRATASOL: Kratasol Extra, Kratasol-E, Kratasol, Kratasol PFM, Kratasol AF, Kratasol PC. In this case, the superplasticizer allows to reduce the amount of mixing water (which contributes to the formation of a more dense and uniform structure of concrete), the antifreeze additive - lowers the freezing point of water, accelerates the hydration of clinker minerals.
The dosage of the additive is selected in each specific case by carrying out tests in laboratory and production conditions. The dosage of the additive depends on the chemical and mineralogical composition of the cement, the quality of the aggregates, the type of the concrete mix, the ambient temperature, the parameters of care of the concrete (electric heating, etc.). It is most rational (from a technological and economic point of view) to apply a separate dosing of the superplasticizing component (Kratasol Extra, Kratasol-E, Kratasol, Kratasol PFM, etc.) and the antifreeze component (Kratasol-Cryo). At the same time, the dosage of the plasticizer varies slightly with the ambient temperature and is Kratasol-Extra, Kratasol-E, Kratasol, Kratasol PFM-0.3-0.6% dry matter based on the weight of the cement. The dosage of the antifreeze additive is determined depending on the ambient temperature. With such a joint use of superplasticizer and antifreeze additive, it is possible to obtain high-quality concrete at negative temperatures down to -25 ° C, rapid response to changes in ambient temperature and cost savings for the use of chemical additives. It is recommended that the dosage of the superplasticizing component be selected in such a way as to provide a concrete mixture with a given mobility with a water-cement ratio of less than 0.5.
Recommended dosage range depending on ambient temperature .
The range of recommended dosages can be extended. The optimum dosage of the additive is established during laboratory selection. In this case, the selection of the concrete composition is made in accordance with GOST 27006 by any method that meets the design requirements for concrete mixtures.
In the case of long-term storage or use of large amounts of additives, it is necessary to periodically homogenize the additive solution by bubbling with compressed air or stirring. Dosage should be carried out with an error of ± 2%.
In liquid form, the additive is supplied in bulk in auto- and railway tanks, as well as in plastic containers of various capacities. Kratasol-Cryo is a non-toxic and non-flammable product.
The additive is transported by any mode of transport, in accordance with the regulations in force.
Keep in an environment that prevents the entry of foreign objects, atmospheric precipitation. In the case of the freezing of an aqueous solution of the additive after thawing and homogenization, Kratasol Cryo can be used in accordance with the recommendations. Observance of the recommended conditions allows storing the additive within 12 months from the date of manufacture.
It is recommended to use protective gloves when working with the additive. If the product gets on your skin, wash it off with soap and water. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and consult a doctor if necessary. Dispose of the additive according to local regulations, do not pour into the soil, water, sewerage.
