Cratamix-Cryo is an optimally selected combination of a plasticizer, a complex of surfactants, anti-frost components, stabilizers. According to consumer properties, the additive Cratix-Cryo meets the requirements of GOST 24211, which is required for plasticizing, air-entraining, stabilizing additives, antifreeze additives.

Applications

Cratamix-Cryo is used for mortar in the laying of ceramic,
silicate bricks, concrete blocks; when manufacturing plaster solutions in winter
period. It is possible to use additives in the manufacture of products and structures from light and
cellular concrete. Complex antifreeze additive Kratamix-Krio -

plasticizing, air-entraining, increasing the safety of mobility of solution mixtures, the additive with antifreeze effect makes it possible to carry out work - at temperatures down to -20 ° С, while observing the recommendations for carrying out work in the winter. The additive increases the water-retaining capacity of mortar mixtures, provides high connectivity, resistance to delamination and water separation, and retainability of mobility of construction and masonry solutions.

Benefits

  • Stable plasticizing effect when working on various materials (increasing the mobility of the solution mixture from P1 to PZ-P4);
  • Absence of water separation, delamination of solution mixtures at optimal dosages;
  • Increase of the retained mobility of solution mixtures (more than 3 hours depending on the dosage);
  • Reduced labor costs when working with masonry mortar (convenience and ease of masonry work);
  • Air entrainment allows to increase frost resistance and durability of mortar mixtures;
  • Provides hardening of solutions up to -20 С;
  • Does not cause corrosion of the reinforcement;
  • Does not cause vapidity on the surface of the masonry.

Recommendations for use

Cratamix-Cryo is introduced into the solution mixture together with the water of mixing, preferably with the last third of the mixing water. It is not recommended to add the additive to the dry mix. After adding the additive to the mortar, it is necessary to ensure sufficient mixing time for a uniform distribution of the additive in the concrete mix. It is recommended to comply with the requirements for work in winter: heating aggregates before use, to prepare the mortar mixture, use heated water, while the temperature of the solution mixture at the outlet from the mixer should not exceed + 35 ° C; Cleaning of the surface of the installation from snow and ice; In case of snowfall, use special shelters.

Dosage

The dosage of the additive depends on the chemical and mineralogical composition of the cement, the quality of the aggregates, the type of the mortar mixture, the ambient temperature, and the intensity of mixing of the solution mixture.

Recommended dosages in relation to temperature ( in % by dry matter from the mass of cement )

The optimum dosage of the additive is established during laboratory selection. At the same time, the composition of the solution is selected in accordance with GOST 27006 by any method that satisfies the design requirements for solution mixtures. It should be noted that the effective dosage of the additive depends on the type of mixing equipment used.

Physicochemical Properties

Transportation

In liquid form, the additive is supplied in bulk in auto- and railway tanks, as well as in plastic containers of various capacities. Cratamix-Cryo is a non-toxic and non-flammable product. The additive is transported by any mode of transport, in accordance with the regulations in force.

Storage

Store in an environment that prevents the entry of foreign objects, atmospheric precipitation. In the case of the freezing of the aqueous solution of the additive after thawing and homogenization, the Cratamix-Cryo can be used in accordance with the recommendations. Observance of the recommended conditions allows storing the additive within 12 months from the date of manufacture.

Recommendations for the use of the additive are presented on the basis of the available practical experience with proper storage and use. For more information, please contact the Technical Support Service of PJSC Pigment, direction - "Additives in Building Materials".
